Unveiling July 2026's Quilting Subscriptions
What's in the Box?
What’s in the Box? Tula Pink, Sew Sampler, Cherrywood & More! | July 2026 Quilt Mail Haul
There’s nothing better than walking out to the mailbox and realizing everything arrived at once!
This month’s What’s in the Box is one of my biggest quilt mail hauls yet. Instead of my usual couple of packages, I had five different deliveries waiting for me, including a brand-new Tula Pink Pink Door Box, the Fat Quarter Shop Boo to You Halloween Mystery Quilt Kit, my monthly Sew Sampler, a Cherrywood Fabrics subscription, and a Ginger Quilter Mystery Box.
There are beautiful fabrics, quilting notions, bag-making supplies, exclusive patterns, and even a few products I’d never seen before.
If you love quilt subscriptions and fabric hauls as much as I do, you’re going to enjoy this one!
🎃 Boo to You Halloween Mystery Quilt Kit
One package I had completely forgotten about was my Boo to You Mystery Quilt Kit from Fat Quarter Shop.
I ordered it months ago and couldn’t wait to finally open it! This year’s mystery quilt features the adorable Purrs & Boos fabric collection by Elena Amo for Moda Fabrics, filled with retro Halloween colors, playful cats, ghosts, pumpkins, and fun novelty prints.
I’ve made several of Fat Quarter Shop’s mystery quilts over the years, but this is the first Halloween kit I’ve purchased in quite a while because I simply couldn’t resist these fabrics.
My Thoughts
This may be one of my favorite Halloween collections Fat Quarter Shop has used for a mystery quilt. The retro pinks and oranges paired with the sweet cats and ghosts are just too cute.
I’ll be sharing my progress throughout the mystery as each free pattern is released.

🍒 Cherrywood Fabrics Subscription
Next up was my monthly Cherrywood Fabrics delivery.
This month’s colors were inspired by a Minnesota thunderstorm ice dye, creating beautiful hand-dyed greens and browns with incredible movement across the fabric.
These fabrics are already destined for my Nocturnal Nook project, and I’m planning to film one of the intricate foundation paper piecing blocks using these beautiful hand-dyed fabrics.
My Thoughts
Cherrywood continues to produce some of my favorite solids for foundation paper piecing because the subtle texture adds so much interest without overwhelming the design.
🎁 Ginger Quilter Mystery Box
I always enjoy opening Ginger Quilter’s mystery boxes because you never know what you’ll receive.
This month’s box included:
- Kimberbell Mini Bouquet Vintage Blooms
- Seven generous fabric cuts
- Thread
- Riley Blake fabric
- Michael Miller fabric
- Alexander Henry fabric
- Blank Quilting fabric
My Thoughts
One thing I really appreciate is that these aren’t tiny scraps. Most of the fabric cuts are around a half yard, making them much easier to incorporate into future quilts.
💖 Pink Door Fabrics Prince Charming Déjà Vu Box
This is always the box I look forward to the most whenever Tula Pink releases a new fabric collection.
The Prince Charming Déjà Vu Box was absolutely packed with quilting and bag-making goodies.
Inside were:
- Prince Charming Déjà Vu fabrics
- Coordinating solids
- Renaissance ribbons
- Dandelion webbing
- Coordinating zipper
- WonderFil Confetti thread
- Divided Tablet Tote pattern
- English Paper Piecing clamshell kit
- Swivel clips
- Woven labels
- Storage tin
- Gel pens
- Notepad
- Stickers
- Fabric bow tutorial
My Thoughts
Pink Door always does a fantastic job curating these boxes. I love that they include everything needed to inspire an entire project instead of simply sending fabric.
One of these days I’m actually going to make one of the bags they include!

📦 Fat Quarter Shop Sew Sampler - Summer Crush
The final subscription box was the Summer Crush Sew Sampler.
Inside were:
- Daisy Crush Layer Cake
- Clover Jumbo Wonder Clips
- Sewing Machine Love Binding Keeper
- Karen Kay Buckley Scissor Lanyard
- Acorn SeamAlign Glue
- Botany Quilt Pattern
- Soul Mates Vault Pattern
- Latest Spooled Quilt Along Block
My Thoughts
I always enjoy discovering new notions through Sew Sampler. This month, the Karen Kay Buckley Scissor Lanyard was probably my favorite surprise. It’s one of those simple ideas that makes you wonder why you didn’t have one sooner.
The Daisy Crush fabrics also have a fun retro feel that really caught my eye.

What's Included in Sew Sampler
🌼 Daisy Crush Fabric Collection
Designed by Heather Bailey for Figo Fabrics
This month’s Sew Sampler featured a Daisy Crush Layer Cake by Heather Bailey for Figo Fabrics. With cheerful florals, playful geometric prints, and a palette of sunny yellows, soft pinks, fresh greens, and vibrant blues, this collection has a bright, retro-inspired feel that instantly makes me think of summer. The mix of large-scale florals and coordinating prints gives plenty of variety, making it easy to imagine everything from quilts and table runners to bags and home décor projects.
✂️ Quilting Notions
Sew Sampler always introduces me to a few new tools, and this month’s box included some fun additions to the sewing room. The Clover Jumbo Wonder Clips are perfect for holding thicker layers together without pins, while the Sewing Machine Love Binding Keeper offers a clever way to keep binding neat and organized as you sew. I was especially intrigued by the Karen Kay Buckley Scissor Lanyard, which keeps your favorite scissors close at hand, and the Acorn SeamAlign Glue is one of those handy notions that can make fabric preparation quicker and more accurate. They’re all practical tools that I’ll definitely be putting to good use.
📐 Featured Quilt Patterns
This month’s box also included two quilt patterns that offer very different styles. Botany is a fresh, modern design that lets the fabrics take center stage with clean lines and plenty of movement. The Soul Mates pattern from the Fat Quarter Shop Vault collection brings back a favorite design for quilters who may have missed it the first time around. Along with the newest Spooled Quilt Along block, there’s plenty of inspiration packed into this month’s Sew Sampler, whether you’re looking to start a new project or add another pattern to your growing collection.

💰 Was Sew Sampler Worth It?
One of my favorite parts of opening each Sew Sampler box is seeing how the value compares to the subscription cost. This month’s box cost me $37.36 (including tax and shipping), and the contents had a retail value of $83.86. That’s more than double what I paid, making it another month where the subscription delivered excellent value. Between the beautiful Daisy Crush fabrics, useful quilting notions, inspiring patterns, and the latest Spooled Quilt Along block, I felt like this month’s box was well worth the investment.
